Janet has been an integral part of the Sarasota real estate market for more than 30 years, the majority of that time spent living on the islands of Lido Key and Longboat Key. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, she graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, before relocating to Sarasota to begin her career as Marketing Director with Heitman Retail Properties.
Over the decades that followed, Janet built a deep foundation of local knowledge and lasting personal connections across the community. In addition to her work with Michael Saunders & Company, she has held key commercial real estate and marketing roles at Sarasota Square Mall, Southgate Plaza, Kellogg & Kimsey Construction, The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, and through her own business, I Am Woman Personal Brand Imaging. This breadth of experience allows her to offer clients a uniquely informed perspective on both the lifestyle and the market of the Sarasota Islands.
A trusted advisor known for her professionalism and genuine care, Janet is especially passionate about giving back.
