Client Situation

Dallas-based buyers reached-out to Walter Group for assistance in learning more about the Sarasota Island’s lifestyle – as a prospective location for their winter residence. Although having never been to the area, the buyers learned about Walter Group through their own web research.

Approach

Walter Group followed-up to the buyer’s web inquiry with a phone call and shared a high-level overview of the area. Based on that initial discussion, Walter Group scheduled a Zoom call to facilitate a deeper-dive into the buyer’s requirements. After learning how the buyers intended to use the property, Walter Group narrowed the focus to 4 or 5 neighborhoods and used Google Earth and the MLS to compare/contrast different areas (and properties) and further define the ideal property.
Over the course of the next 6-months, Walter Group shared recommendations for active (and off-market properties) that may be suitable for the buyers – and coordinated a showing of shortlist properties.

Outcome

Walter Group established a short-list of potential properties and was able to enter a negotiation with the owners of this exquisite home to close before Thanksgiving so the buyers could entertain friends and family for Thanksgiving dinner.
