It was developed in the 1960s and is situated on the southern end of the key, offering residents access to a variety of water-based recreational activities, such as boating and fishing, as well as nearby golf courses and tennis courts.
The community features a mix of single-family homes, villas, and condos, many of which have been updated and renovated over the years. Country Club Shores is known for its mature landscaping, scenic views, and proximity to local amenities.
Country Club shores was developed in five phases. Each phase of Country Club Shores has its own unique character, and all phases offer residents access to the community’s amenities, including beach access and park-like setting.
The southern most phase has nautical themed street names (Sloop Ln, Ketch Ln, Schooner Ln, Yawl Ln, Cutter Ln, Outrigger Ln, Gunwale Ln, Hornblower Ln, and Spinnaker Ln) which are less than 1,000ft long. The middle phase streets are also named with nautical themes (Halyard Ln, Ranger Ln, and Yardarm Ln) but are approximately 1,400ft in length. And the northernmost phase of Country Club Shores are golf themed (Putting Green Ln, Birdie Ln, Wedge Ln, Chipping Ln, Golf Links Ln, and Putter Ln).
